Like many small nonprofits, our size varies from year to year. We’re excited to introduce you to three new members of our team this week, three seems like a sudden burst of growth and it’s exciting to see what three new perspectives can bring to our work.

Firstly Nick Williams, PhD is our new Associate Director of Research. Nick joins us from New York City and has a background in clinical health research. He’ll be leading many research projects and supporting our team with data analysis, visualization and data management expertise as well as research design.

Nathan (Nate) Phillip is our newest Research Associate- he’s an Oakland local and a former Cal Bear. He’s part of our team working on youth displacement research, violent crime analysis and other local analysis efforts.

Breeanna Decker also joins our team as a Program Associate with our Opportunity Youth Initative. Also an Oakland native, Breeanna will be  working to strengthen our cross-sector coordination and collaborations, to ensure youth have a structured transition to post-secondary education.
